Electric Motor Repair

Rewinds are processed through temperature controlled ovens. Stators are striped, cleaned and sandblasted re-insulated with class H materials, dipped in varnish and baked to complete the process

After motors are received several electrical test are performed, motors are disassembled all parts are inspected and clean, stators are dipped and baked, rotors are checked for balance, housings and journals are inspected for proper bearing fits, bearings are replaced. Stator is retested prior to assembly, After assembly is completed motor is given a final test and paint is applied.

With the facilities of our extensive machine shop, we can manufacture and modify replacement shafts, gears, cut keyways, repair housings and bearing fits as needed. Machining is needed to repair electric motors when components are damaged.
